Smart Solution - Audi Leasing

All over Europe and the UK, Audi brands are one of the most in demand cars for leasing and contract hire. Audi offers a wide range of selection for Audi leasing. The common choices are the A3, A4, A6, Audi 8 and the Audi TT.

Audi 3, known as the “city’s sleek performer” can be a hatchback or a sports-back showcasing both luxury and practicality. Audi 4 offers the Saloon, Avant or the Cabriolet while Audi 6 highlights the allroad Quattro with its powerful engine and rugged suspension for an all-road performance. Audi 8, with its V6 and V8 engines, comes with the Quattro’s four-wheel drive and all-aluminum body. The elegant Audi TT, with its sleek design and power, comes available as a roadster or a coupe.

Vehicle options are offered both for Audi leasing and Audi contract hire depending on the available stocks and the preferred plan of customers. Audi leasing is both offered for individual use or for private users or for business or company use.

For private users, Audi contract hire or leasing still gives the individual a wide range of choices for the car unit, terms, payment and duration. Some companies offer the option for the customer to keep the car or return it after the lease period.

For business users, Audi leasing serves as a very practical move for business solutions. Most Audi leasing companies offer the option to choose car specifications depending on the company or individual tastes and requirements.

What are the advantages of Audi leasing and contract hires? For one, the customer is given the freedom to choose car specifications and model depending on the stock availability. Audi leasing companies are considered a one-stop shop for all motoring needs. Also, the lease provides very minimal risk to customers since most companies offer “no obligation to purchase” policies.

Another is the lease’s practicability. Some customers would want to rent cars for temporary personal or business trips and driving your own stylish car is one great solution to mobility. While most rented cars offer the usual “mass-produced and mass-renting” quality, Audi leasing provides the business man or traveller with mobility, style and elegance. All these fit the purpose of each traveller, whether for business or for pleasure.

Audi — All Car History volume1

Audi traces its origins back to 1899 and August Horch. When Horch was forced out of the company he had founded, he started a new company in 1909 called Audi which was a Latin translation of Horch (in German: ‘Listen’). From the start, the company’s policy was to build cars mainly for the luxury category.

Since 1932 the Audi emblem has been the ‘four rings’, which represent its amalgamation with DKW, Horch and Wanderer to form Auto Union AG in Chemnitz, Germany. Audi supplied a wide range of passenger vehicles during the 1930s - from motorcycles to luxury saloon cars. Volkswagen bought the company in 1964. In the 1980s, Audi dominated world rally with the Audi Quattro, and has had huge success in the Le Mans 24 Hour with its R10 prototype racer.
Audi’s progressive designs and groundbreaking technology combine to make cars which are innovative yet stylish. The current crop of production vehicles from the Audi A3 to the Audi R8 supercar has propelled Audi to record sales during the 21st century.
Audi have produced every kind of car imaginable: from executive cars such as the Audi A4 and Audi A6 to sports cars such as the Audi TT - from the Audi Q7 full size SUV to the Audi A2 super-mini and they show no signs of slowing down.

Audi A8 - All Car History Volume 3

The Audi A8 is a full-size luxury saloon car that combines Quattro four-wheel drive, the light but sturdy Audi Space Frame ASF aluminium body and adaptive air suspension. On top of this, there are numerous high-torque, powerful engines to choose from. Built by Audi to replace the V8 model as its flagship offering, two generations of the A8 have been produced in both short and long wheelbase form. The long wheelbase Audi A8 “L” combines performance with power, making it the most luxurious sports saloon in its class.

Other executive cars from Audi range includes the Audi A4 and the Audi A6

The A8 has been produced in two generations: from 1994-2003 and 2003-date. The first A8 used Audi’s D2 platform, an all-aluminium space frame to reduce weight without losing rigidity. The saloon included the A8L long-wheelbase version, adding five inches rear legroom. In 1997, six interior airbags were added, making it the first vehicle to be so equipped. The second generation was built on the D3 platform, with the main notable change being the unique single frame grille, now the signature style for the entire line of Audi automobiles.

TYPES

The current generation of A8s is available in a range of powerful diesel and petrol engine options including 2.8 V6, 3.2 V6, 4.2 V8, 3.0 TDI V6 and 4.2 litre TDI V8 with standard or long-wheelbase versions. The diesel versions all include semi-automatic Tiptronic gearboxes whilst Multitronic semi-automatic options are available for petrol engines. The 4.2 litre diesel V8 is the most powerful diesel engine Audi has ever produced in a car. It uses two turbochargers and two intercoolers, with each turbo functioning exclusively for one bank of four cylinders.

Audi A8 Facts

  • The top of the range Audi A8 SE 4.2 FSI Quattro has a (limited) top speed of 155 mph and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 6.1 seconds, whilst the A8 SE 4.2 TDI Quattro - a diesel - has the same top speed but gets from 0-62 mph in just 5.9 seconds!
  • Adaptive air suspension is available as an option in the A8. It is the first Audi sports suspension system to be based on the principle of air suspension which allows the driver to change the suspension as individually preferred. Both the damping characteristics and ride height can be adjusted in a single process via the MMI “CAR” menu system.

Audi A4 - All Car History Volume 2

The Audi A4 is a luxury compact executive car produced since 1994. The successor to the 80 series, the A4 is a mid-range option that holds its own in the face of tough competition, mainly from the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes C-Class. Available as a four-door saloon, five-door estate and two-door convertible form, the Audi A4 was the first ever car from the Volkswagen Group to include the new 1.8 L 20V engine with five valves per cylinder.

TYPES

The A4 has been produced in three distinct generations since its inception. The first (1994 to 2001) was based on the Volkswagen B5 platform. It was introduced as a four-door saloon though the “Avant” estate version arrived the following year. The second generation (2001-2005) was based on the new Volkswagen B6 platform. Re-styled, the revised A4 had engine upgrades and the company introduced a continuously variable transmission (CVT) option. The third generation (2004 to 2008) saw many additions to the engine options. The company released the first official pictures of the brand new “B8″ series A4 in August 2007.

The Audi A4 range now includes 1.8, 2.0 TDI, 2.7 TDI, 3.0 TDI Quattro, 3.2 FSI Quattro and 3.2 V6 versions; a range of ten petrol and diesel engine options area available in total. It is available as a saloon or Avant estate version. Topping the petrol engine range is the 261bhp 3.2 V6 though “S4″ and “RS4″ versions are planned. Topping the diesel range is a 237bhp 3.0 V6 that initially will be manual only.

Other executive cars from Audi range includes the Audi A6 and the Audi A8

Audi A4 Facts

  • The Audi A4 reportedly accounts for half of all the vehicles the company makes at its Ingolstadt plant.
  • The A4 S line 3.2 FSI has a top speed of 155 mph and accelerates from 0-62 mph in 6.2 seconds. Meanwhile, the slightly more sluggish A4 S line 2.0 TDI, can reach a top speed of a mere 134 mph, and only gets from 0-62 mph in 9.4 seconds, but then it can deliver 65.7 mpg on the extra urban cycle.
  • The German newspaper “Bild am Sonntag” presented the “Golden Steering Wheel” award for the 2008 Audi A4.
